Legendary Riverside Coach Tom Work Talks About Having Stadium Named After Him(Audio)

This Thursday, September 6, 2018, the Riverside High School stadium will be renamed the “Tom Work Riverfront Stadium.”

The legendary Riverside Rangers Football Coach won 134 games, won 9 district titles and won 10 bi-district titles. His teams won 46 straight district games, and went 10-0 four times.

I had the opportunity to talk to Coach Work and in the following interview we talk about what it means to him to have the stadium named after him, his former players, his former coaches and his family.

There is a dinner planned in his honor, and the renaming ceremony will take place this Friday when the Rangers host Burges.
