Irvin is off to their best start in more than four years, and Devin Driscroll put the Rockets one win away of exactly tying that mark with an MVP like performance against El Paso High last week.

The senior ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns, caught two passes for 88 yards and a touchdown, and returned a kickoff 84-yards for a score in the Rockets dramatic 49-35 win over El Paso in where they scored 21 fourth quarter points.

To sum up Driscoll’s night yardage wise, he tallied 370 all-purpose yards and FIVE total touchdowns.

The Rockets are 5-1 for the first time since 2013 in where they started that 2013 season 6-1.  Irvin plays Bowie this week in a pivotal D2 2-5A matchup.
