Week 9 Super Eight Power Poll

Week eight saw some major movement in Super Eight Power Poll.

Irvin joins the poll for the first time all season.  At 6-1 overall and 3-0 in D2 2-5A, Joe Urias’ club is in the thick of the of the district title race with Andress, setting up a collision course for a district title game at the end of the season if both teams can continue to cruise.

Eastwood has been one of the hottest teams in the city over the last month and also cracks the poll and dropping Del Valle a few sports.   But Franklin has been another strong team over the past month and is now ranked third after an impressive whipping of Coronado.

Parkland holds down the number one spot for the fourth straight week, and the Pebble Hills Spartans picked up a pair of first place votes.
