Deion Hankins ran for 295 yards, five rushing touchdowns, and caught a 58-yard touchdown pass, and went over 6,000 career rushing yards Friday night in a district D2 1-5A opener against Hanks.

The UTEP commit is the second Parkland Matador to take home player of the week honors.  Hankins has 904 rushing yards, 13 touchdowns, and a pair of receiving touchdowns so far this year.
