The El Paso Bandits 13 and Under team will be defending their 2018 American Youth Football National Championship in Florida this Friday December 13th. The team from El Paso represents the best in El Paso’s rising High School players. The team has athletes from Eastwood, Montwood, Parkland, Americas, Bowie, Austin, Pebble Hills, Eastlake, El Paso High and Bel Air.

The team played on Monday against the North Carolina Kernerrsville Raiders and won 21-6 in the first round. In the second round, the team faced the Massachusetts Worchester Cowboys and won 14-0 to advance to the Championship game on Friday.

The team has been able to get to the championship round despite having a hard time fundraising due to the weather and events in El Paso. Their Gofundme page is still open for anyone that wishes to help them with expenses while they are in Florida.
