El Paso, TX — On senior night, the Andress Eagles take care of business against a scrappy Bowie Bears squad 49-21. The Bears attempted a few haymakers on district leader Andress, but as the game progressed the Eagles were too much to handle.
Senior wide receiver Marco Barron played his final game at Allan Sepkowitz stadium and did not disappoint, 140 yards receiving with two touchdowns and a 67-yard punt return, making him our Casa Nissan Player of the Game. Last night’s victory for the Eagles have cemented their status as 5A-2 Region I District 2 Champions, clinching a share of the district title and can win it outright next week.
Next week, Andress square off against playoff bound Irvin, while Bowie plays its last game of the season against rival Jefferson, for the Battle of The Southside.
