Pebble Hills falls to Amarillo Tascosa

AMARILLO, Texas – Pebble Hills traveled north for a second straight year to face Tascosa in the Class 6A DII bi-district round, and the Rebels run game proved to be too much Friday night at Dick Bivins Stadium.

Tascosa scored on every first half series, Tascosa quarterback Joseph Plunk ran for 176 yards and four touchdowns as his 80-yard touchdown run gave the Rebels a 27-0 lead with 9:41 left until halftime.

The Spartans were held to a season low 186 yards of total offense, and 31 passing yards, while Tascosa ran for 362 yards on the evening.

Pebble Hills season ends at 5-6.
