EL PASO, Texas – The Eastlake Falcons continue their strong stretch, as the pitched a shutout Friday afternoon, defeating Chapin 29-0 at the SAC.
Eastlake has now won three of their last four games, and sits at the top of the District 1-5A DI standings with a 2-0 record.
Falcons quarterback Orion Olivas threw a pair of first half touchdown passes, then a fake punt saw Daine Kirtley hook up with Blas Compean to give the Falcons a 22-0 lead at halftime.
Olivas threw a third touchdown pass to make it 29-0 early in the fourth quarter. Matt Jones was on the receiving end of this one, giving Jones his second touchdown of the game as Eastlake started the fourth quarter with a 29-0 lead.
Eastlake will play El Dorado next week, while Chapin will host Eastwood next week.
